Hello Friendsies!  Life around here has been typically busy, with some interesting events sprinkled in here and there.  Rob seems to be a little more relaxed right now, which I have no complaints about!!  He actually planted an herb and small vegetable garden, started a worm colony for compositing, and helped me clean things.  Halleluja!

So a few weeks ago, the Med 1's made all us ladies scream with joy at the announcement that we would have a Spring Prom.  Prom?  Yes, my friends.  Prom.  Let's just stop for a second and think back to our high school days and the prom(s) that we attended in our youth.

The friends, the dancing, the pre-party hangouts, and all the craziness.  Now imagine that scene with unlimited alcohol and a healthy dose of care-free "I'm in my 20's" raucousness.

Voila!  Med 1 Prom 2012!!

It was actually quite classy - held at the Botanical Gardens with a masquerade ball theme.  Our friends held a mask-making party to allow us all a chance to practice arts and crafts.  I was rather proud of my creation!

Of course Rob always does his own thing, so he refused to make or wear a mask and decided to paint his face.  There's never a dull moment!

Last week, I was in my first production with Opera Columbus!  It was The Magic Flute in English and I had a blast.  I met some really amazing people and had a great time hanging out backstage with all the other chorus peeps.  Here's a pic of the Sopranos!
Besides living the classy, opera/prom lifestyle these days, we're happily enjoying the warmer Columbus temperatures and the beautiful sun when we are graced with it's presence.  The trees are green again and the birds are practicing "I can sing louder that you" games, which is just precious.  Ah, Spring!!
Much Love!
